It is very important for you to become familiar with the various types and conditional categories that we offer. These categories are based primarily on the container's age, or how long it has been in service as an ocean cargo shipping container. As you would expect, the newer units are much more expensive than the older and more heavily used ones. • “AS IS”, “WWT” ISO Shipping / Storage Containers

  

  Product Description: “As Is” ISO (International Standards Organization) containers are the most affordable option in container purchasing. These containers are made for cargo transport purpose. These units are typically labeled by the shipping line and come in a variety of colors. All SAF-T-BOX "As Is" containers are manufactured to meet the rigorous ISO specification for shipping containers. Being built for shipping purposes, to be stacked loaded 10-15 high will insure that the integrity of the container will not be comprimised. These containers are known for being the strongest, and longest lasting solution in containerized shipping or storage.

  Condition Description: These units vary in condition based on age and grade. Typically these units are sold inspected as “WWT” or “wind and water tight” or un-inspected “AS IS” and most likely water tight but may require a little bit of repair. If your needs require a water tight container in fair condition and you have the ability to do minor repairs throughout the years, this is a good bargain level container.

• IICL-5 ISO Shipping / Storage Containers

  

  Product Description: IICL-5 is a standard based on an inspection criteria set by the IICL (Institute of International Container Lessors.) This criteria certifies that there is no damage or conditional “issues” associates with the inspected container. These units are typically in better condition and newer than the standard “AS IS” or “WWT” containers. However they may be labeled by the shipping line and have surface rust and scratches as all used containers.

  Condition Description: IICL-5 are in good working and usable condition for shipping or storage purposes. You can expect minor rust, dents, dings, and signs of use. The approximate age is 4-10 years. If you do not wish to pay the price of new but need a unit in good condition, this is the best container for you.

• “One Trip” Shipping / Storage Containers

  

  Product Description: “One Trip” Containers are manufactured overseas and have been transported with a single cargo load. Once they reach their destination, they are often made available for purchase in a port location or depot facility. These units are typically manufactured without a shipping company logo in beige, gray, blue, or red/brown. They are often made available with security lockboxes for the purpose of portable storage. The main advantage associated with one trip containers is that there is no question it will last for years to come and will be more esthetically pleasing then the many times used containers.

  Condition Description: One trip containers are in excellent “like new” condition. No shipping label, clean inside and out in a choice of colors that tend to blend into your environment. If your needs require nothing less then a new container this is the choice for your.
